Anthony Hoang MD provides top-notch care for urology issues and urologic cancer

Anthony Hoang MD is a respected urologist and urologic oncologist. He joined our group of Houston urologists after he completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at the prestigious National Cancer Institute – National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Treating prostate cancer is his specialty. At the NIH, his research focused on the role of MRIs and focal therapy in the management of prostate cancer. Dr. Anthony Hoang also provides comprehensive urology care for men and women. Patients appreciate his patient-friendly explanations and customized approach to treatment.

Dr. Anthony Hoang has exceptional educational credentials

At Baylor University, Dr. Hoang received his Bachelor of Science in biology. He attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston for medical school. Houston was also the site of Dr. Hoang’s internship and residency training. He completed his internship and residency in urological surgery at the University of Texas – Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center. Anthony Hoang MD continued his education by completing fellowship training in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Anthony Hoang has been published in various medical journals, authored several book chapters, presented at multiple regional and national meetings and received several awards for his works.

Our bilingual physician enjoys many hobbies. His interests include traveling, reading, martial arts and exercise. He also loves spending quality time with his wife and two beautiful children.
