Meet Dr. Hannah Pham, our caring, highly skilled Houston urologist
Houston Metro Urology is pleased to add Dr. Hannah Pham to our team as our newest Houston urologist. Hannah Pham MD enjoys treating a wide range of urologic conditions and providing care for men and women of all ages.
Dr. Pham trained with many of our physicians during her residency training. Working with them made her want to become part of this group. “I knew how wonderful the practice was, how skilled and compassionate all the physicians were, so I knew I wanted to be a part of this community,” she says.
Hannah Pham, MD has impressive academic credentials
Dr. Hannah Pham has been preparing to be a physician since high school. Even as a teenager, she wanted a medical career, so she applied to a program that gave her early acceptance into medical school after high school and graduation from college.
Graduating summa cum laude, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with minors in chemistry and general business. She completed her medical education at Texas Tech School of Medicine and did her urology residency training at Houston Methodist Hospital. Two highly selective academic honor societies accepted Hannah Pham MD into their membership: Phi Beta Kappa when she was an undergraduate, and Alpha Omega Alpha during medical school.

Urology appealed to Dr. Hannah Pham for many reasons. “I felt like urology was one of the specialties where I could treat a wide variety of patients, young, old, male and female,” she explains. “I could follow them over time and develop relationships with them.”
She also liked the opportunity to provide patients with a wide range of treatment options, ranging from lifestyle changes and medications to minimally invasive therapies she can perform in the office or surgeries in the hospital.
Dr. Hannah Pham received exceptional training for robot-assisted surgery during her urology residency at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Pham is trained in robotic; minimally invasive; and traditional, open surgery. She enjoys treating a wide range of urologic problems.

“My patient care philosophy is to always put the patient first, make them the focus,” she says. “I work together with patients, collaborating with them to make sure whatever decision we make, we make together, and that it’s truly best for them.”
When she isn’t busy interacting with patients, our Houston urologist enjoys active pursuits, such as scuba diving, snow skiing and yoga. Dr. Pham also likes to travel and learn about other cultures. She enjoys time at home with her husband and dog, Archie, as well as time with family and friends.
