Our Houston urologists and the staff at Houston Metro Urology support the Houston ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. Whether our staff is running or walking the race, making donations, or just supporting others, we are all-in every year for this important event. Each year, the HMU staff work together to choose a name for our team. When we work together, we know that someday, we will ZERO out prostate cancer.

How the walk/run helps to ZERO out Prostate Cancer

The organization ZERO Prostate Cancer helps patients, caregivers and researchers. This highly rated nonprofit organization works every day to achieve their mission to end prostate cancer.

The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk is a fun way for the local community to help raise funds and raise awareness about this cancer. One hundred percent of the money raised during the race funds awareness, advocacy efforts and research. In addition, the organizers split the money, with half going to local efforts in the Houston area and the other half going to national needs.

Our team supports ZERO Prostate Cancer’s local and national efforts because the organization does the following valuable work

Our goal for the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk is to raise awareness, support these men during their fight, and have fun together at the same time.
